Another Commercial
Open on an island beach with a few cast members of Lost.
Sayid's working on the guts of a radio. Charlie's at the mike. Hurley is hovering over them.
A spark and the radio statics to life.
Charlie barks into the mike "Can anyone hear me? We're survivors of Oceanic blahdeblah....".
A voice crackles over the radio "Could you repeat that?"
Charlie and Hurley woop and both talk into the mike at once.
The voice says "Hunh. Sorry, but I can't help you with that. But I do have some good news."
Charlie, desperately cries "What's that?!"
"I saved a lot of money on car insurance by switching to Geico Direct."
Sayid looks stunned. Charlie glowers at the mike in his hand and Hurley says "That sucks, dude".
fade to black.

Movie Pitch
First, read Norton I: Emperor of the United States by Wm. Drury. There's at least half the story right there.... The true story of Emperor Norton, which may be stranger than the myths that have cropped up around him.
Now we need two directors, one to direct the fantasy/myth part of the story and one to do the bio-pic. Each will direct and edit their own mini-movie, using the same cast, but with no interaction between the crews. That way the color schemes, filming styles, etc will be completely different. Then either a third director or a master editor will cut the two films together and voila!!! Instant classic.
I'm thinking Ridley Scott and Jean-Pierre Jeunet, but I'm open to other suggestions....
